I am Amelia, I am 10 years old. I have been trying to learn how to cycle since I was 4. It has taken me a long time to learn but finally this summer - August 2022 - I learned how to ride. I am setting myself a challenge of cycling 100 miles before the end of 2022, so far I have completed 33 miles! I am doing this as part of my Platinum Award (which is a bit like a DofE) and also to raise money for the Cheltenham Animal Shelter.

I have chosen the Cheltenham Animal Shelter because I attended a workshop there last Easter and fell in love with the animals, the people and what they do. Maybe when I’m older I might even work there! I also adopted 2 rabbits from there, Rudy & Scramble! I want to do this challenge to show them how much I appreciate what a great job they do there.
