Story
Hi there :)
I'll keep it as brief as possible since it's great you've even visited the page!
I've become a bit addicted to running/obstacle races/challenges since January 2012 and i'm now looking to obliterate a new goal...the dreaded Half Marathon. Ok it's not a marathon but since the furthest i've ever run in a race is 10km, a 21.1km is going to be a bit of a step up. And...since I like to be a bit different, I'm heading to Berlin for this one! The event is on 7th April 2013 and training is in full swing. I really hope to complete the full distance in under 2hrs 15mins but anywhere under 2hrs 30mins would be ok too I guess(!?) !
I'm raising money for Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors without Borders), which is a charity active worldwide. They focus on crisis response, healthcare and disease prevention and providing medical aid to over 60 countries. Having run for Help for Heroes and Cancer Research last year, I wanted to fundraise for a different cause this time. I think MSF's goals and work are incredible and know that whatever amount I raise will be used to substantially improve someone else's life.
Check out where and what MSF do on their website below:

Thank you thank you thank you! And if anyone fancies a Berlin trip feel free to come and support with a weissbier :D
