Story
Thank You for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 10th June 2013 I sadly lost my Grandad to Alzheimers. He was the rock of the family and I miss him dearly. He was a great man with many life long achievements and was one of the best people I could have known.
This year I have decided to walk the 2km to help raise money for the Alzheimers Society and raise awareness which may help other families who may be going through similar pain that me and my family experienced through my Grandad's long battle with the disease. I wish my Grandad could have seen the person I have become and hopefully there will be a greater possibility for someone with dementia to see their children/grandchildren grow up due to the work from Alzheimers Society.
Alzheimers Society is an amazing charity which is the leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. The charity runs solely on voluntary donations, so every little really does help. Please visit here for more information:
