In October 2024 I will be trekking the Great Wall of China in aid of Breast Cancer Now.

In 2004 my amazing mum was first diagnosed with breast cancer. She endured treatment and surgery with a smile on her face and was free from the disease until she was sadly diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in 2013. Currently there is no cure for this stage of cancer however I believe that every donation towards the charity is one step closer to changing this. 

I want to spread awareness and encourage people to check their bodies regularly and attend screenings when invited, but most importantly I want to help this charity find new ways to detect, treat and save lives from breast cancer.
