Between 1947 and 1949, at least 750,000 Palestinians were expelled from or fled their homes in historic Palestine during violent events related to the creation of the state of Israel. Seventy years later, Palestinian refugees are still living the catastrophe. Many are made homeless again through home demolitions and coercive environments created by the occupying power, and the conflict in Syria has shattered the Palestinian refugee community there, further displacing two-thirds of them. 

MAP’s team in Gaza have reported that the health system is near breaking point after receiving so many devastating and disabling injuries. Severe shortages in medicines and fuel to keep generators running and services open has led to a high loss of life and further mass casualties in Gaza this week.

Any donations to provide immediate support to Gaza’s health system, which is fast running out of supplies to treat the wounded, as well as Palestinian refugees, would be appreciated.
