Story
The London marathon has always been on the bucket list, something I'd like to tick off and a real achievement to have under my belt! Those are the reasons I'm running it for myself but, more importantly the reason I'm running the London Marathon is for my dad, Kevin. Like myself, he had always wanted to run the 26.2 miles one day! He was always into his running until he was diagnosed with non-hodkins lymphoma. He fought hard to beat the cancer and throughout treatment maintained a positive attitude, it was never 'if I get better' but 'when I get better' and even through times of pain still said that once he's better he'll take on the London Marathon. Unfortunately, he passed away just 9 months after diagnosis but I want to take it on in his honour.
I want to raise money to help those affected by the disease, show my support to the charity and the wonderful work they do but, I want to smash the 26.2 miles and make my dad proud!
It would mean a lot if you could support me on my 26.2 mile journey and donate to such a worthy cause.
