Weldmar Hospicecare is an incredible charity providing support to people with life limiting illnesses and their families in Dorset. This charity is very close to my heart and every donation given can help Weldmar to continue to provide their amazing service to those who need it. 

On Tuesday 3rd May 2022, my grandad Andy Cornick sadly passed away at Weldmar’s Inpatient Unit in Dorchester. The care and compassion all the staff showed to my grandad and my family was incredible. This allowed us to be there with him in the last moments, knowing that he was cared for and comfortable, and that we were all able to stay there unrestricted to support and be there for him and each other. 

Weldmar need to raise £18,000 a day to continue to help other families like mine, but every penny counts. 

Therefore, I am taking on the personal challenge of running my first Marathon in aid of this amazing charity. This is taking place on Sunday 16th October 2022, I will be running this in memory of my grandad and hope that you can all join me in this journey as I train for the event over the next 22 weeks.
