Ten years ago I lost someone very special to heart disease; my mother passed away following a cardiac arrest just after New Year's Day. In her memory, and to raise as much money as possible for the British Heart Foundation, I am attempting to run three of the world's great road races during September and October:

In her memory, and to raise as much money as possible for the British Heart Foundation, I am attempting to run three of the world's great road races during September and October:
•The Great North Run (with my nephew Parveer)
•The Berlin Marathon
•and (best of all) the Great Birmingham Run
To make things interesting, I'll be running Berlin dressed as Scooby Doo again. It's going to be tough to say the least, but it'll be worth the effort if it boosts fundraising (plus, I've grown quite attached to the outfit after London last year). Please give generously; all donations go directly to the BHF, and will help in the fight against heart disease. Thank you!
