Our story...
To mark the end of my nephew Harry’s long treatment against Leukaemia, Ruby and I are donating our locks to the Little Princess Trust and asking for any donations small or big for the Henry Allen Trust.
Harry was only 4 when he was diagnosed with Leukaemia 3 years ago. This December will be the end of his chemotherapy treatment and removal of his port. He’ll still have to have all his immunisation jabs again over the next 6 months before it’s all ‘normal’ again but there will be no more lumber punctures or daily/weekly chemotherapy drugs and more.🙏🏽
Harry has been beyond brave during this time. Never a moan or complain about having his treatment, holding back the tears when he’s been in pain and continuing to be the happy charming cheeky lamb he is!
Dawn and the Henry Allen team have been amazing through Harry’s long 3 year journey. Dawn and the team work endlessly to make a difference to the children and families dealing with this awful disease. The work they have done in the isolation unit at MK hospital has certainly made it better while Harry’s been there and that’s one example. The support Dawn has provided and continues to provide is so genuine and heartfelt that she will always have a special place in our family.
In order to help Dawn to continue her great work please donate via this page.
Ruby and I have been growing our hair in order to donate to The Little Princess Trust who will hopefully be able to use our chopped hair towards making wigs for children with Cancer.
