Story

Next February, I am taking up the challenge of climbing the highest single free standing mountain in the world: Mount Kilimanjaro.

It is the highest mountain in Africa, standing 5895 m high.

I am treading in the footsteps of others who have made the epic climb for causes close to their heart. During my lifetime, I have sadly seen friends and family lose loved ones to cancer, including my Nani. It is a cruel illness which impacts all areas of someone’s life.

1 in 2 people in the UK born after 1960 will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime.

This is a small attempt to help those increase there chances of living.

Macmillan Cancer is a charity which does vital work to support people through these tough times in various different ways.

Climbing Kili is a small attempt to do a little to support them.

I would be grateful for any support to help reach my target of £5000 by December!

Thank you so much for your help and kind support.
