London Landmarks Half Marathon 2023 · 2 April 2023 ·

A fun, quirky Half Marathon through London's iconic Landmarks on Sunday 2nd April 2023.

Story

In April 2023, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Diabetes UK. My daughters best friend was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in Feb 2020 and we have watched her with the daily struggles that comes with managing her glucose levels ever since. Watching her determination and strength has given me the inspiration to push myself out my comfort zone to train and run 13.1 miles.

Diabetes UK help fund amazing advancement in technology over the last few years, allowing children like Lilly to have access to insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors which help make managing this condition that little bit easier, and hopefully someday soon Diabetes UK will help find a cure for Type 1!

Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
