Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page this is our story

In October of 2010 I sufferd a very rare form of Stroke called a CVST, I was aged just 23, Not many people realise that a stroke can affect people of any age. but I am living proof that it happens!

A stroke doesn't only affect you it affects everyone else around you also and can be one of the most life changing experiences you will ever endure.

luckily for me I had the support of a great family, friends, and my amazing Husband.

these people kept me going when i couldnt walk, talk or even bath myself properly. And after 10 months of rehabilitiation, a lot of hospital treatment and more ups and downs than we can ever remember i am now back to work, walking, talking and living my life! and even though i didn't come away totally unscathed i am very thankful for being here today!

Throughout my Journey I have met and spoken with people all over the world who have suffered Strokes and brain injuries and their stories never stop inspiring me. unfortunately not everyone is as lucky as me and that is why we need to keep raising money to fund the great work that people like the Stroke Association does

On my down days I used to log on to the Stroke Associations ''Talk Stroke'' forum and just to be able to talk to someone that understood what its like to be in that position is one of the best parts of rehabilitation, not only could I get help from Stroke Veterans but i could also offer advice to people who were having the same feelings as me! We need to keep things like this going!

So my wonderful Husband and I will be taking part in the London 10K run on the 14th of July 2013 and we would love it if you could spare us some money to this great cause! this is something that means a lot to me and Dean and we thank you in advance for all your Support!
