We fund research of secondary breast cancer to improve patients' quality of life

Story

On Saturday 21st May, Team 'M2C' will be taking on the
Colour Obstacle Rush at Kempton Park Racecourse in aid of Make 2nds Count, a
charity that gives hope to those affected by secondary breast cancer (also
known as metastatic, advanced or stage IV breast cancer). The Colour Obstacle
Rush is a 5km course with inflatable obstacles along the way and foam, coloured
powders and other things to slow us down!

Secondary breast cancer is breast cancer which has spread
from the breast to other parts of the body. Although secondary breast cancer
can be treated, there is no cure. Unlike those living with primary breast
cancer, there is no end to treatment, there is no remission.

It’s estimated that 35,000 people are currently living with secondary
breast cancer in the UK yet only 7% of the National funding for cancer goes
towards this incurable disease. Make 2nds Count aims to address this imbalance.
They provide support, education and research, contributing to advancing an
increased quality of life for those suffering with this incurable
disease.

Please, please, please donate if you can or come down and
support us at 2pm on Saturday 21st May!

Much love

Team M2C

Nikki, Amanda, Heather, Kate, Fran, Laura & Suzy
