I am running the 2023 London Marathon because I want to help Meningitis Research Foundation achieve their goal of a world free of meningitis by 2030.

Recently, I have been made even more aware of the devastation meningitis can cause.  Sadly, a very close friend of mine lost his 6 month old grandson to meningitis and several months later a work colleague contracted meningitis and lost her life too!  

The loss of these 2 very special people has inspired me  to do all I can to fundraise.
