Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you might already know, I am embarking on a little adventure in August this year. I am going to Honduras in Central America to volunteer with children for a 12 months. I am leaving 'sunny' Lincoln, my job, my house and my beautiful car Shirley to give all I have to children in Honduras.

I am not sure which project I will be placed with yet, but it will be working with disadvantaged children who have perhaps been orphaned or street children. I will be building their self esteem, planning activities and offering support. Sorry that is a bit vague but when I find out which project  have been placed with, then I will update the page.

When I am out there, I will be staying with a Honduran family and speaking Spanish. As ICYE is an exchange programme, it means that a Honduran young person can come to the UK for a year.

I cannot tell you how excited I am about going on this voyage of discovery! I am planning fundraising activities (possible sky dive in Cairns Australia ?????) but once things are confirmed I will update this page.

I will be updating facebook and Twitter (if I can learn how it works) as and when so you can see what I am doing.
