Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In August 2020, we received the heart breaking news that our baby boy Alex Jay Polley had passed away inside of me at 16 weeks gestation (unfortunately he had a few medical issues). After delivering him at East Surrey Hospital, we were given a memory box from SANDS which meant (and still does mean) the world to us. It has a book of photos of him, a teddy bear which matches the teddy bear he was buried with, a blanket, as well as other bits. They also provide a great amount of support in other ways, helping families grieve and deal with the emotions that come with loosing babies. Alex was due to be a valentine's day baby.

We had a 2nd loss in April 2021 at 10 weeks gestation- our little baby Pumpkin - due date was Halloween.

So this walk is in memory of both of our babies as well as in memory of Sam's older brother who sadly passed away at birth, and in memory of all babies lost worldwide.
