My challange For Luca ...On 29 March 2012 I summited mount Toubkal.  In winter conditions a 4167 meter mountain, the highest in North Africa.  This involved a 6 hour hike to base camp of 3200 meters.  Next day a long 8 hour climb to the summit.  This was my 1st time mountaineering! And sleeping in a hut on a mountain!!   So to really push the boundarys we climbed a more technical mountain Ras ouanoukrim 4083m the next day!  this involved a 10 hour day of climbing, scrambling and desending very steep couloirs, scary is an understatement.

This trip was funded myself, all the sponsorship will go to Luca. Please dig deep and help this little boy

 Luca is a beautiful 3 year old who was struck down with Meningococcal Septicaemia in early January and his life changed forever…This horrendous disease ravaged every part of his body in hours and left him fighting for his life! With less than a 3% chance of survival Luca pulled through however he was not unscathed… 

 

Luca lost both of his legs and all of his tissue, some muscle and skin below his hips. He has massive skin and tissue and muscle loss across his arms and shoulders and is now fighting to save his knees which have been severely damaged.

We are raising funds to cover the huge costs of equipment and prosthetics giving Luca every chance to excel in every aspect of his future.
