9 December is Elf Day at Alzheimer's Society when we are invited to embrace the spirit of Christmas with good cheer and kind acts...by dressing as an Elf. My team (and anyone else who knows me) are invited to donate an amount of money to try and make me be that person. So, I can dress up and caper about in green tights or choose to match the donation to play the 'Scrooge' card and resort to type (those who know me well know that my favourite phrase at this time of year really is 'bah humbug'). So, my competitive nature is torn between wanting to win and look silly, or lose and face the ignominy of being boring. It's for you to decide.
