**UPDATE**  WE DID IT!!  And we had a brilliant day.  It was raining as we registered but then cleared up so we were very lucky.  Although it was very windy (so the hair was lookin good - NOT!) & we had to be careful to stay away from the cliff edge... which was difficult in some spots.  We had an all over workout, not just the legs, as some bits were more like an assault course - I kid you not!  But we had a surprise bonus when we stopped for lunch at the half-way spot... a stag party turned up with the stag in a bright green Borat mankini - didn't leave much to the imagination.... my only regret is I didn't get a photo!!  I was obviously too overcome by the sight of them all changing into their wetsuits......Oh I feel faint, now where was I?
