Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving Page it means a lot.

On December 6th 2008 I lost my beloved brother Stephen who was just 33 years old.

Stephen was born in 1975 and whilst a baby suffered a massive epileptic seizure. The seizure lasted over an hour and caused major brain damage. Stephen went on to suffer with Epilepsy all of his short life and developed further problems later in life.

After losing Stephen my Parents and I where left devastated.  I wanted to do something positive.

I took part in the Underwood fun run 2.5 miles and it about finished me off, but I have since gone on to run 3 half marathons and several 10K races. I decided to try for a place in the London Marathon and have been successful in gaining a place through Epilepsy Research. It is a great honor to run on behalf of this charity very close to my heart.

Please support me in raising money for this very worthy cause.

Many thanks

Amanda xx
