The American Healthy Heart Association is a student organization at FHSU with a vested interest in students' mental and physical health. Their latest mission is to help students combating Insulin Dependent Diabetes that are struggling with the financial strain of paying for Insulin.
Insulin Aid Project is an assistance award for students with Insulin Dependent Diabetes developed by the American Healthy Heart Association. Individuals suffering from Insulin Dependent Diabetes must come up with anywhere between $500-$1000 more each month than the typical college student. These students are more likely to drop out of school due to severe financial strain.
Funds donated to Insulin Aid Project will go directly to FHSU students to provide financial assistance for insulin costs. Your gift will allow these students to focus on academics, knowing that they have their Insulin covered. Funds raised will directly benefit students struggling because of a condition beyond their control.
