Story

My sister started working as a palliative care nurse straight out of university and I never quite understood how huge a job it is to not only help dying people but help support their families too. When my Grandpa died  in St Catherine’s Hospice a couple of years ago, I got to see first hand the work and support involved in being a palliative care nurse and to realise this is a charity based organisation made me realise how important it is to support. Dying is something that is going to happen to all of us but realising it’s not dying that is terrifying, it’s how it happens and the nurses at St Catherine’s were incredible at making a peaceful death for my Grandpa. So a huge thank you to St Catherine’s for all they’ve done and this is just a little something I can do to return th help, love and support you gave my family and I. Please donate to such a wonderful cause! Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
