One month ago we lost our beloved Lyra. She passed away aged 13 after a short battle with an aggressive cancer, and died in our arms at the vets. Beautiful, bossy and feisty to the end, she was loved to her very last moment.

Thornberry Animal Sanctuary rescued Lyra as a tiny kitten. She was found in a neglected garden with two of her siblings. If it wasn’t for them, we would never have enjoyed so many amazing years with her.

Founded in 1988, Thornberry have rescued thousands of animals and like many charities, they rely entirely on fundraising, donations from members of the public, legacies and business support for their continued survival.

We’re raising money for Thornberry to help support the amazing work they do, and to help many more people find their ‘Lyra’.
