Hello, My name is Amanda Kaiser and I am an engineer/manager with Pinnacle Midstream. When I was a child I watched my grandmother battle cancer throughout my entire childhood until she ultimately lost her fight. Then when I was a teenager my dad was also diagnosed with cancer and he’s been fighting cancer and associated after effects ever since. Watching them battle cancer as adults was hard and it forced me to grow up in a hurry. Imagining watching a child go through that same battle is heart breaking. Two years ago when my coworkers first introduced me to Sky High for Kids, I thought it was such a great organization to support children and their families fighting cancer. Additionally, a couple very fabulous ladies were quick to let me know I could donate my very thick hair to support the cause. I have been growing my hair out for these past two years since finding out about Sky High for Kids and I am ready to cut the eight inches needed to donate.
