Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge on the 8th of September 2018, climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England & Wales within 24 hours, and want to raise money for two charities which are close to my heart, one of which is;

Alzheimer's Society - my Nana battled with this illness for four years and she sadly passed away in August 2017. When her illness became too much for her to live on her own, we were extremely fortunate in the fact that she was able to be looked after by the brilliant staff at Bridgedale Home, but not everyone is so lucky to have access to this kind of care. This terminal disease is frightening for those affected and heartbreaking to watch. The Alzheimer's Society work tirelessly to change perceptions, fund research and improve care and support and rely on donations.

I am self funding this challenge via www.threepeakschallenge.uk so all money raised will go directly to the charity.
