I was diagnosed with Jeavons Syndrome just over a year ago, its a form of Epilepsy. My friend, who also has a form of Epilepsy and I will be cycling around Virgina Waters lake on the 20th May 2012, to raise money for Young Epilepsy. We want to help raise awareness of Epilepsy in children, so teachers, parents and other children have a better understanding.
With over 100 years expertise, Young Epilepsy provides world class diagnosis, assessment and rehabilitation for children and young people with epilepsy. It has a unique blend of specialist services including a school, college and residential services providing education and healthcare for children and young people with epilepsy, autism and other neurological conditions.The charity provides a range of support and information for parents, children and young people and training for professionals.
