Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be running the Brighton Marathon in April 2013 raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. I started running when I gave up smoking in May 2010 and have continued til now, taking in a few 10ks and a half marathon along the way. After seeing a friend complete London Marathon last year I decided that I wanted to run a marathon before I am 40 and hopefully raise some much needed funds along the way. I will be training 4 days a week for 6 months - come rain or shine or snow !
I will run in memory of my Dad Jim and Simon's mum Jan. Both died of cancer in their 50s and in my opinion were taken away from us too early... Macmillan were there for us when we needed them most and for that I am eternally grateful.
