Story
Well we did it - despite being full of cold with a chest infection to boot! I came 215th out of 294 - not quite last!
The words ' never again' come to mind - it was hellish but I had the support of my dear friends Jane and Jo to help me round and as you can see from the pics, we are still smiling.
There is still time for you to donate - believe me, I worked for it!
Thanks Amanda x
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Macmillan nurses are known as Angels and that is so true. I personally have now been affected by so many people who have lost their lives to cancer and at the end, they have had one thing in common - the support they have had from Macmillan.
I picked Macmillan and will run The Gauntlet in memory of all those I and my friends and relatives know who have lost their lives to this awful disease. And especially for:
Pete Drury - our step dad, who lost his fight for life in August 2012.
Mark Webb - our dear friend, my second husband, and Max's god father who died September 2005
May they all rest in peace.
