As you may have seen on my FB page, On the 25th June 2022 . 

 I will be taking part in the Treck26 hike. A 13 mile guided hike over the beautiful landscape of  Ullswater ,Lake District as part of an Alzheimer's Society fundraising event. It's a full day of walking - up and down some tough terrain,  which I'm sure will provide me with an exciting and enjoyable endurance challenge. (And a very sore..... pair of legs!

So, why the Alzheimer's Society? Well, to cut a long story short, I'm doing this for our Mum June she has been battling with the effects of Alzheimer's for a number of years now and I am compelled to do something to try to make a difference for others. It's a cause close to my heart and with your help and fundraising efforts, maybe in the future less people will suffer at the hands of this terrible
