So here we are again, it's Manchester 10K time and for the third year I am running with a team of our Manchester PA Network members.  After the first year I ran it I said I would never do it again! After the second year of running I said I would never do it again! and no doubt on Sunday evening I will say I will never do it again!  

The aches and pains last a few days and then they are gone which is nothing compared to the pain my courageous Mum suffered throughout her very long battle with Cancer.  

I was recently told that my Mum battled so hard to stay alive for me and that is something  I will always be grateful for, without the Christie I honestly believe that her 34 year old life would have been much shorter and I wouldn't have had 9 happy years with her.  

I've been fundraising for the Christie with the Manchester PA Network for almost five years now and from our events and our crazy challenges we've raised over £60,000 this is a drop in a very large ocean to the money the Christie need to keep researching and to keep providing such wonderful care to it's patients and their families.
