I'm excited to be supporting the first ever Epic Trail Challenge: Hike for Health + Justice! 

I'm raising funds with my epic teammate, Gricelda Correa (who is hiking the challenge), so we can reach a team fundraising goal of $5000. Organizing this first ever challenge has been a challenge! But also an inspiration and an honor. In spite of COVID, fires, and what feels like an upside down political environment, we are accomplishing something positive and impactful.

In addition to the physical, mental, and emotional challenge of this hike, the funds we raise will benefit Santa Rosa Community Health so we can continue to make health care happen for those who most need medical, dental, and mental health services. With your help, its possible! For nearly 25 years, SRCH has prioritized being "the people's" health care providers, providing culturally respectful and relevant health care for people of all races and backgrounds. Every day, we open the doors of our 8 campuses to deliver medical, dental and mental health care for over 42,000 people. (That's 1 in 4 Santa Rosans!) Through the wildfires and now COVID, our team is on the front lines, working so everyone can have the opportunity for a full and healthy life. I believe everyone in our community deserves excellent health care, regardless of their ability to pay.
