This will be my second marathon, and I'm running in the city where my dear friend Jennifer lived. She lost her battle with addiction 6 years ago, and I miss her so much. I also have loved ones who have struggled with addiction. I'm passionate about helping others with addiction prevention and recovery. I like that the Amy Winehouse Foundation supports youth in their emotional wellbeing and incorporates music therapy and instruction into prevention and treatment.
