Story
I am cycling 175 miles this August, with Sybille on the back of my bike. She is important because she pushes my bottom to help me get up the uphills and she yells Giddyup and yanks my hair when I need to go faster.
We are raising money for Essex Wildlife Trust because we both love wildlife and it matters to us that it is still there for Sybille to enjoy for the rest of her life. The impacts of climate change are heavily felt on Essex's stunning 350 mile long coastline. Its internationally important saltmarsh habitats are retreating at 100 hectares per year. But their natural walls protect our coastal communities from storm surges - and saltmarsh stores carbon at an even faster rate than woodlands.
Nature needs our help. Together we can protect the future. I'm doing the Essex Coastal Challenge: join me by donating to Essex Wildlife Trust and do something amazing for our wildlife.
