As part of a 6 week program with Tearfund learning skills in fundraising and leadership I have been set the challenge to raise £1,000! Together with my team we are running 24km in 24 days (or a multiple of 24, I’m running 72 - one of my team members is going to do 240!). The number 24 represents the 24 million people who are currently in need of humanitarian aid in Yemen, one of their main focuses. They are also doing essential work on transporting the vaccine and educating country leaders about the vaccine in countries such as Tanzania. This is as well as their usual focus on poverty around the globe.
