Metro Lifeline's Scaffell Pike at Night Challenge · 7 February 2022 to 7 March 2022 ·

The Metro.co.uk Lifeline campaign has joined forces with PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide to take on an epic challenge this summer and raise much-needed funds and awareness.

Story

Just before midnight on July 2, 2022, a group of Metro.co.uk readers and PAPYRUS supporters will head into the night to climb Englands highest mountain, Scafell Pike. This amazing adventure will see our trekkers reach the summit in darkness, while finishing their journey just as the sun rises which perfectly reflects the crucial work PAPYRUS does in helping people find light during their darkest times.
