This year, in memory of my Grandie who passed away 10 years ago, my family and I are walking the 24 hour Relay for Life to raise money for Cancer Research.

For us, for my Grandie, it started with Bowel Cancer before getting his Lungs, Liver and finally ending with Brain Cancer before he grew his wings.

For many others, they have a different story, but the same ending.

Relay For Life celebrates the power of community fundraising to make breakthroughs happen. Across the UK and the globe, teams of friends and family fundraise for world-leading cancer research. Then, we unite as a collective at a weekend festival to honour everyone affected by cancer and celebrate the progress we’re making. Together, we remember loved ones and celebrate the tomorrow’s made possible. Together we are beating cancer.
