We provide vital care and support to all those affected by a blood cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Please click on this Team link: Aly's 65 in 12 in order to see the three charities I am supporting:

Leukaemia Care, Sheffield Blood Cancer Trust (part of Sheffield Hospitals Charity) and Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity.

You may donate to any or all of these. I am hoping to raise £1,200 for each charity.

To celebrate the 12th anniversary of my stem cell transplant and my 65th birthday in August I am walking 65 miles over 12 days between June and August with my husband, Brian, from our home in Newbold, Chesterfield via the three hospitals where I received treatment for chronic myeloid leukaemia between 2009 and 2015 - Chesterfield Royal Hospital, the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield and Rotherham Hospital.

Leukaemia Care is the UK’s leading leukaemia charity. For over 50 years, they have been dedicated to ensuring that everyone affected receives the best possible diagnosis, information, advice, treatment and support.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
