This past year has been extremely difficult due to the pandemic for everyone, but has been significantly worse for those who are already suffering due to war, famine & poverty. With Ramadan coming this will get worse, so please help these people by donating and providing them food this Ramadan. The Messenger of Allah ‎ﷺ said: “Whoever gives iftaar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.” [al-Tirmidhi 807]

The money raised will be going to towards food packages that will be delivered to several different countries such as Syria, Palestine, Yemen, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Somalia, Sudan or Iraq. Help people in these countries open their fasts this Ramadan in sha Allah. Every food parcel is tailored to the needs of the local community with an average of 62kg of nutritious food staples.

Please donate as much or as little as you are able to 

- £70 will provide a family-of-six with a nutritious food parcel to last the whole month of Ramadan.

- £15 will provide a week-long food parcel to a food-insecure Muslim family in Manchester, UK.

- £8 will provide a hot iftar to a fasting person at Masjid Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem.

- £6 will provide a vulnerable person in Pakistan or Gaza with a nutritious hot iftar meal.

The Messenger of Allah ‎ﷺ said: “Charity does not decrease wealth” [Sahih Muslim 2588]

It is also reported that the Prophet ‎ﷺ was more charitable in Ramadan [Sahih Bukhari 1803]
