Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Arthur Lee was born on March 7th 1945 and died of leukaemia  on August 3rd 2006 at the age of 61. March 7th 2010 was the 65th anniversary of Arthur's birth and we held a party in York to celebrate his life and music. It was a brilliant day and we plan to repeat it next year and every year.

Leukaemia and Lymphoma between them touch a lot of peoples' lives, and the research carried out in the past has meant a much higher survival rate than previously - funding research in the future will mean that even more people will live to tell their tale.

The Robin Hood Marathon in Nottingham on Sunday 12th September 2010 is supporting the charity and if you would like to make a donation towards research into Leukaemia and Lymphoma, you can do it here.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
