This year I will be taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2023; my first ever marathon.

On the 2nd of October 2021, I started my running journey with the Couch to 5K plan. In 2022, I participated in the Vitality London 10,000, ASICS London 10K and The Big Half 2022.

Now, 18 months down the line, I am ready to take on the biggest challenge I have set myself. So, I kindly invite you to share in this great opportunity to raise funds for our Colts Team at Chingford Cricket Club. So why Chingford Cricket Club?

The number young players have grown in recent years. Children and parents have developed great friendships. Through the game of cricket children have a sense of belonging and the amazing coaches and volunteers teach the young people respect, discipline, sportsmanship, but most of all to have fun and enjoy the beautiful game.

The sport and the facilities on offer provide an escape and a safe place for the children to explore their talents and embrace their skills. It gives them the opportunity create friendships, develop their confidence and independence from a young age.

The funds raised will be used to make much-needed improvements to the club's existing facilities, the purchase of new equipment and to raise awareness in the local community through events.
