Story
Thanks for stopping by....
I count myself lucky that I can run a marathon distance therefore I feel I should use my ability to help raise money for those children who do not have mobility and rely on carers and foundations to give them the best possible life they are able to have.
The challenge is to run and complete a marathon once a month throughout 2019 making a total of 12 marathons. The Marathons I have chosen to enter are as follows:
20th January - Gloucester Marathon / 26th February - Day Marathon, Kent / 2nd March - Phoenix Spring Series Marathon, Walton on Thames / 7th April - Rome Marathon / 5th May - Newport Marathon, South Wales (Home Run!) / 16th June - Cheddar Gorge Marathon, Somerset / 7th July - Tenby Marathon, Pembrokeshire / 18th August - Bath Marathon / 8th September - New Forest Marathon, Hampshire / 6th October - Bournemouth Marathon / 3rd November - Cornish Marathon, East Cornwall / 21st December - 12in12 Days of Xmas, Newport
I feel tired already just writing the list!!!
The completed challenge will see me counting up a very sweaty 314 miles. That's the distance from Cardiff to Newcastle! The following are only suggestions due to the miles covered but I am more than grateful for any donations given to this cause. Every penny counts so please just give what you can!
A. 5p per mile / £ 15.70
B. 10p per mile / £ 31.40
C. 50p per mile / £ 157.00
