Story
The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust (KSSAAT) is a charity that exists to provide the highest level of pre-hospital critical care to those who need it most across the three counties. To do so requires in the region of £7 million a year from charitable donations - a staggering figure that is achieved only because of the tireless and innovative work by the charity's fundraising staff in addition to the overwhelming generosity of the public.
Providing critical care at the roadside is expensive and it is all funded through charitable donation, from the fuel in the helicopter to the vital bits of kit we use on scene.
Working for KSSAAT is a real privilege and has allowed me to see first hand what a difference it makes to peoples lives. It has undoubtedly made me a better doctor and in return I hope I can raise a few pounds in sponsorship by flogging myself around the streets of Brighton.
Thank you in advance for any support you may be able to give.
