In honour of our play Blue Stockings being streamed we are asking for donations to the Fawcett Society. 

The play Blue Stockings follows a group of women fighting for their right to graduate from Girton College at Cambridge. Although the play is set in 1886, women across the world are still faced with inequality and discrimination daily. The Fawcett Society are a charity campaigning for gender equality and women’s rights at work, at home and in public life. Their vision is a society in which women and girls in all their diversity are equal and truly free to fulfil their potential creating a stronger, happier and better future.

The pandemic has widened the gender gap even further and impacted charitable organisations a lot. For this reason, we are asking for donations to the Fawcett Society instead of buying tickets to watch our play. All donations make a large difference and we would appreciate any help.
