In memory of my colleague Owen Guerin I am undertaking a mammoth physical and mental 500 mile endurance cycle challenge to raise money for educational scholarships with the YMCA George Williams College. 

The Owen Guerin Educational Scholarship will give young people from a financially disadvantaged position direct financial assistance to access professional education and training and invest in their future.  

Education should be based on the ability to learn not to pay. There should be no barriers to releasing the potential of  our young people.
