Story

Doddie's story has touched the rugby world - but it touches the football world and beyond too. Ally and Simon are calling on all Rangers and Celtic fans, and supporters of any team across Glasgow, to devote their cycling, running or walking miles between now and February 6 to DoddieAID - please join our Glasgow team and donate what you can, whether 10p, £1 or £10 per mile, it will all make a massive difference. Let us know who you are exercising for - #AllysArmy or #SidsSquad

For Doddie to fearlessly face down his diagnosis and raise £7 million in 3 years for MND research has been mind blowing. And to have done it with smile never far from his lips, and humour punctuating every call to action, Doddie does inspire. #DoddieAID is a way for us all to do our little bit to help him in his quest to find better treatments for this awful condition, and Doddie being Doddie, we hope it is going to be a lot of fun.Doddie AID is an Inter-District exercise challenge running through January until the Calcutta Cup KO. Any exercise counts, and your miles can be logged into your personal total on the trac4good app. And it also goes into your District team total. Come the 6th February 2021, we will see which District has logged the most miles. Though there are a few other criteria to the competition too, such as Conversions! See www.doddieAID.com for all the details and to join in.
