My 1,150 miles Lands End to John O Groats Cycling Challenge
Fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK
Fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK
I am cycling Lands End to John O’Groats (1,150 miles), the long
way, unsupported and generally bivouacking most nights.
Recently one of my young colleagues at Allsop, Sophie Sangchi, died far too young of bowel cancer. She was passionate about the message that Never Too Young promoted about Bowel Cancer in young adults. I am therefore raising money for Never Too Young in support of Bowel Cancer UK.
I set off on Friday 13th May (lucky for some) from Lands End hoping to reach John O’Groats two weeks later having averaged over 82
miles a day and climbed a total elevation of over 15,000 metres, the equivalent of over 1.5 times the height of Everest.
If you feel able to support this great charity and provide much
needed encouragement to me in my cycling I will be very grateful.
