It seemed like a good idea at the time! Get fitter, prove my body is not completely past it (!) and raise money for Penny Brohn UK. After my own experiences of leukaemia, the impact it has had on my family and me; I feel really lucky to be now working as a counsellor at such a wonderful charity. It may be a cliche, but cancer affects so much more than just a part of someone's body. Penny Brohn UK offer amazing holistic support around all those other areas of life affected by cancer and enable people to take some control back. All their services are free, it costs around £6000 a day to run the charity, so please help me raise enough to fund it for at least 6 hours!
