In May 2010, Granada TV presenter Paul Crone will attempt his most daring challenge yet for charity...to cross the English Channel in a kayak.
This is the busiest shipping lane in the world, and Croney faces a host of dangers, not least the physical aspect of paddling for up to TEN hours in choppy conditions.
Together with Granada colleague Doug Brown, the 47 year old will attempt the crossing for the North West Air Ambulance.
Frankly he's off his rocker, but this is an extraordinary feat, so please donate accordingly. We think he's more than just a couple of quid. Ten hours in a tiny boat out in the English Channel...I mean come on!!
SO PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY.
