Story
In November 2021, I was rushed to hospital with a herniated bowel. I had emergency surgery, part of my bowel had died and had to be removed, and I was in hospital for 4 days. As I recovered, I realised how ill I had been and how lucky I was to survive. I started exercising to improve my health, as I grew stronger, I did more. I am now running regularly to help my physical and mental health. I wanted to set myself a challenge, to push my fitness levels further. So, I decided to complete one of the things on my bucket list - The London Marathon. Having secured my place for April 2023, I am running as part of Team Macmillan. Thinking of the pain and suffering people with cancer have to go through and the amazing work this charity does to support them will spur me on in those long miles. Whether I run, walk or crawl, I will finish the full distance. I need help to raise money for this charity. The donations go directly from Just giving to the charity. Every pound really does make a difference. I'm asking you to consider donating to my page to help me achieve my fundraising target please.
Thanks for reading my story.
