The staff at Queenscourt Hospice were nothing short of amazing during the 12 months nan was diagnosed with cancer, as nan had requested she be able to stay in her own home for as long as possible.  The hospice provided the medical support for nan and the emotional support for the rest of the family to enable us to care for her in her own home.   With the help of the Queenscourt at Home service (they did most of the night sitting) she did indeed fulfil her last wish.

So this year Donna and I are going to try and give a little back to this wonderful place and their wonderful staff.  We are taking part in the Queenscourt Hospice Star Trekk IV walk.  It’s a 7 mile walk that starts at 10.30pm ……….we hope to complete it by dawn!!!
